Saya tuh tipe yang seneng banget untuk coba ini itu. Apalagi sekarang instagram tuh layaknya daily toxic (waduh konotasinya kayaknya negatif amat ya), yang semua hal hits pasti di posting disana. Waktu lagi scroll untuk istirahatin pikiran yang mumet gila liatin kandidat di Linkedin, muncul lah iklan @haluuworld ini. Saya lihat - lihat "lucu juga ya" karena tempatnya instagramable, cocok lah untuk isi feeds instagram yang kosong semenjak Color Run 2018 kemarin (Oiya, belum nulis tentang ini).

Weekend pun datang. Saya se-excited itu loh liburan akhir tahun kali ini, bener - bener kayak teriak kecil "Finally! LIBUR JUGA W". Hari itu, adik saya kebetulan minta ditemani untuk beli sesuatu. Jadilah, saya kepikiran ajak adik saya sekalian ke @haluuworld. Dia jawab "Yuk! harganya berapa?". Saya langsung cek official ig mereka yang lumayan lengkap. Harga tiket masuk yang weekday dan weekend ternyata beda. Harga tiket weekday itu sekitar Rp. 90,000 dan weekend Rp. 120,000 (please check their ig). Kami langsng cus datang ke Warehouse Plaza Indonesia lantai 5 untuk beli tike OTS (fyi, you're better to purchase online ticket, karena lebih murah sekitar Rp. 30,000)

Antrian di luar ternyata tidak serame itu. Saya dan adik saya langsung super excited. Pengunjung yang datang juga udah ready set go banget buat foto - foto ala chakep. Tidak lebih dari 15 menit, kami sudah masuk bersama 8 orang lainnya. Langsung di sambut lah oleh guide untuk diinformasikan terkait don'ts didalam seperti "Kakak tidak boleh pegang art yang ada didalam, foto maksimal 30 detik, tidak boleh berjalan balik, jangan merusak ya kakak" dan lain - lainnya.

Akhirnya, jalan lah kami bersama rombongan. Di spot pertama kami di foto oleh Mas nya. Tapi sedihnya hasilnya tidak ada yang bagus, hasilnya seperti "asal jepret" saja. Ya sudah, kami pikir ga apa - apa lah, masih banyak kok spot yang lainnya. Lalu kami terus berjalan tapi "LAH EH KOK STUCK MACET? ada apa ya?". Ternyata di dalam serame itu untuk foto di spot ini.

IH LUCU amat Sya masuk kedalam snow globe? Iya, Masya Allah ya. Tapi saya antri untuk foto ini sekitar satu jam lebih karena setiap orang yang mau foto didalam sini, balonnya harus dikempesin dulu, terus orangnya masuk, terus diisi angin lagi, sampai balon tegak paripurna cantik, baru cekrak cekrek.

Dari spot ini, kami langsung menyimpulkan begini "Ya Allah, kita kan cari spot foto - foto ga begitu wajib amat ya, kalau tau begini, mending tadi ga usah sekalian *cry stuck di dalam". Setelah itu, kami lanjut ke spot yang lain deh, seperti ini:

Aduh, maaf foto ala - ala yang dimasukin. Setiap spot memang unik dan lighting nya tuh emang maksimal sih, secara tujuannya memang untuk foto. Hasil foto -foto saya mungkin yang kurang maksimal karena memang modal pake HP saja. Kalau punya kamera canggih sih lebih baik dibawa.

Oiya ada satu spot dari Bride Dept yang saya suka sekali. Wajib foto disini ya:

Latar belakangnya kayak panggung kawinan. Di spot ini lumayan rame orang. Jadi kadang harus permisi dulu untuk hasil foto yang tidak bocor (read: penampakan orang lain ikutan masuk foto kita).

Spot lain yang jadi favorit saya adalah spot nya Indomie...

Alhamdulillah, untuk masuk kedalam sini tidak lama antrinya. Selain foto dengan mangkok mie, bisa juga foto di dalam kaleng kerupuk. Lucu banget, Masyaa Allah. Di dalam sini juga lumayan strict waktu untuk foto-fotonya jadi sebaiknya udah di set kameranya supaya ready.

Sayangnya, dibalik keseruan yang ada, ada aja properti yang sudah rusak seperti ini...

Telinga dan mulut kurcacinya hilang! Hiks. Sedih ya? Padahal saya datang ketika @haluuworld belum lama dibuka.

Overall, bagi saya cukup menghibur. Cukup seneng lihat foto - foto hasil gantian jepret sendiri dengan adik saya. Namun, harganya cukup mahal untuk spot -spot yang sebenarnya tidak banyak dan lama antri nya.

Jadi, kalau ada yang kayak gini lagi, mau datang lagi ga, Sya? Tergantung.

Tergantung isinya (bakal banyakin browsing cari tau worth it atau tidak), harganya (kalau tak ada piti ya masa dipaksain untuk sekedar feeds ig doang?), dan dengan siapa (pengen sama di Dia... Lah? Insyaa Allah ya).

No Instagram for A Month?

I was an active Instagram (IG) user. I have been using Instagram since... (checking the oldest post) 2014 - I know It is so late.

IG creative features creates the hype among the youngsters over the years. I can post photos & videos, create stories that last no longer than 24 hours, do live video, and chat with friends. It is like "we can not live without scrolling IG pages".

I felt the same way. I opened IG almost every hour because I could get information faster than news online. Sometimes, the information is important, but many are not. You know what I mean.... Like, information of people's life.

Actually, It is good to know how people are doing, especially my friends, but sometimes I tend to compare my life with them. Here is the problem!. I start to feel jealous and ungrateful every time I scroll people's feeds. Yes! "Rumput tetangga memang lebih hijau"! And a month ago, It is just worsen. I can not easily concentrate with my work, environment and even ibadah. All I did is just scrolling and scrolling, thinking that how people's life are blessed with luck. Honestly, other factor beside Instagram contributed here, but I decided to Puasa Instagram. I signed out and deleted the app from 3rd June 2018.

At first, the feeling is crazzzzy! The addiction is crazzzzy! I easily bored when I was alone. Mood swings happened And "godaan syaitan yang terkutuk" make me want to give up. But, I remind myself that Puasa Instagram is a good thing for me.

I did not post anything, even any post in Lebaran moments :(

After 2 weeks, I feel a little bit different. I tend to focus on myself not people. Maybe the change is not huge but Alhamdulillah the jealousy healed slowly. In week 4, I feel better without IG. I spend my time to do other activities like exercising, going out (without posting anything in IG), reading book, watching inspirational Youtuber like Gita Savitri who went to Jordan for social activities or Ria SW. Meanwhile, I also watched receh jokes like sensational Tik Tok reaction (Sorry, but I can not stop this).

I know that I am not updated since Instagram has their new features, like Instagram TV and video call features (just knew it 2 days ago!), but It is not a big deal, right? After all, I feel more peace. I realize that getting limited information of people helps me overcome the issues of jealousy. I know, there are many options, but at least, I have tried one.

Today, 30 June 2018, I am back in IG. I check every chat that has not been replied and post food stories. But, I feel to delete the app again! Lol. Well maybe I am just not ready yet.

Try Puasa Instagram. It is for your good.

Culinary City, Cirebon

With the existence of Cipali Toll Road, Cirebon becomes one of interesting destination, especially for their Culinary.

For the second time, I visited Cirebon on 2017 year-end holiday with my family. At first, We were planning to visit the tourism destination, like Sunyaragi Cave, one of the hype place in Cirebon. But, plan were just plan.

Yes. We were too focus on their tempting culinary.

Cirebon’s Culinary is one of the best. The first day we arrived, we’re directly heading to the most popular Empal Gentong, Empal Gentong H. Apud. Empal gentong is a spicy curry – like beef soup. I ate it with a plate of rice. Another favorite dish is Sate Kambing (Lamb Satay). For people who love lamb's fat, here is the best!

Price: Around 30 K (Empal Gentong) and 50 K (Lamb Satay)

After that, I went to 4848 Es Kopyor. They have unique place with various 2017 calenders along their walls. They served Es Kopyor, milk, and syrup separetly, so that the customer may add with their own taste. It was so refreshing with 38 degrees Cirebon temperature, Masya Allah.

At night, We were too tired to go out. In tripadvisor, I found out that there is one local dish, that I never heard before, called Mie Koclok, Not Mie Kocok ya, MIE KOCLOK. So, we decided to order food via Gofood. The best one is Mie Koclok Mang Sam. They just open at night. We waited for 60 mins, which is little bit long. But, the waiting was so WORTH IT! THIS IS THE BEST LOCAL DISH IN CIREBON! It is noodle with white thick soup. It has slices of chicken and half boiled egg. SUPA GOOD.

Price: around 20 K? I don't remember

In the last day, we visited Nasi Jamblang Ibu Nur. People said Gak Afdhol, If you went to Cirebon without trying it. I need to be in the line to choose the menu. The line was long. But, I did not wait too long. I got their most favorite balado shrimp, balado boiled egg, something looks like rendang, something looks like kecambah tauge and rice. I like their balado shrimp, but their black squid is my favorite. Next time, I will order it. They also have Tahu Gejrot which is the best in Cirebon (I had tried 3 different Tahu Gejrot during the trip, Lol)

Price: Based on the dish (all around 15K), balado udang & black squid is the expensive one 35k - 45K). Tahu gerjot is around 15K

So, It was my culinary trip in Cirebon. I gained alot. But, I had so much fun to try new dishes.

Suicide Case Around Me

It's been a year and half I didn't write anything.

Actually, there are many topics that I planned to bring in. But, well, plan is just a plan.

So, today, I decided to start writing because the topic is very familiar with me in the last 8 months. I’ve often heard the news of people committing suicide in recent times. The news that is still fresh in my mind is about Korean celebrity who committed suicide in mid-December 2017. It was Shinee's lead singer, Kim Jong – Hyun. Media predicted that his major depression causes the suicide. Then, on May 2017, the lead singer from Linkin Park (that I really adored), Chester Bennington, also did same by hanging himself. He has been suffered the addiction for years. From his close friend, most likely the trigger of his suicide is because of the alcohol abuse. Another case was happened in my neighborhood on last August 2017. It was a man who lives near my house. It was surprising me since I haven’t expected this kind of case occur in my circle.

After all those cases, I became curious and ask to myself:

“Why do people end their own life like that?”

“Is it that easy?”

But then, I thought that every human being should known that death is a painful thing. So, People who choose to dead is surely have big problem. I searched and found out that major psychiatric illness, especially major depression is the number one cause. People who have major depression disorder or one of the mental disorders such as bipolar disorder have a higher risk, up to 20 times, to commit suicide. Other conditions involved were schizophrenia (14%), personality disorder (14%), and post-traumatic stress disorder. Other reasons such as substance abuse (narcotics or alcohol), terminal illness, sexual harassment, economic problem, body image disorder, and mass media is also playing substantial role as the cause of suicide.

Furthermore, from the information of those who close with the suicide, they didn’t expect that It could happen (yes just like me), though, mostly, the suicide show the signs. The sign may be varied, so that, sometimes people doesn't consider it. Showing sadness and hopelessness is one of the common sign. The man who committed suicide in my neighbor was telling his daughter that he felt very useless. It was because of his terminal illness that He could not do anything he wanted. I also remember in several months ago when he was still alive, I did not see he did much activities. Even in Lebaran, I didn’t see him getting ready for celebrating. In Chester' case, he also express his hopelessness while having interview with Music Choices several months before his death. He said "I have a hard time with life, even when it's good; I just am uncomfortable all the time. . . ., 'I don't like my mind right now' – like, that is me 24 hours a day. And if I get stuck in here, like, I just find life really hard. It doesn't have to be”. Other signs that can be seen are having loss of self-esteem and negative comment about self-worth. Refer to Jong-hyun's farewell writing, He wrote that He hate himself because He can’t find any answer of his problem, even though He has got treatment, cried and shouted. He also blames himself about what happen to him. From his close friend, He also has excessive worried of his talent until that He did not confident to himself. Jong - hyun also often talked about death. His friend revealed that on early December, he spoke about death to him.

Can you imagine how hard it is?
It is so sad to read the articles, especially to the suicide who show sign but the environment is indifferent with it. I mean those people crying out for help. So, we should at least giving little bit attention toward them. We can start asking direct question like “What is in your mind?" or as simple as “ How are you?”. If they tell you about the desire of death, then do not judge or show the criticism. Let them tell you everything and listen to them. They need someone to listen and open their mind that there are many ways to solve the problem besides ending their life. Other thing that we can do is keeping dangerous things (knife, rope, mosquito poison, etc) and not letting them to be alone. Most suicide cases happened when there are no people around them. Then, inviting her/him to do the activity also may help. It can drain their negative energy, so it may distract them from suicide ideas. Attending the event that related of spirituality, of course, is better. Because, I think people need to believe that The Will of Allah or God is the best grace. Allah always knows better than us, right? If you think that the person needs special treatment from professional, refer her / him to psychologist or psychiatrist. I think professional know better than us how to cure and eliminating the desire. In the case of emergency, call someone or police to help, so we can prevent suicide.

I would like you to know that I am not a professional or specialist of suicide case. But, with the growing number of suicide, we should more aware of this problem. This writing is based on my searching article on the internet. I wrote the sources below, if you want to know more.
